BEST Roma Tor Vergata is proud to announce Born To Fly, the first online hackathon open to all students at the University of Roma Tor Vergata!

The competition
The competition took place on Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, 2020, during which the participants had 24 hours to develop a solution to the challenge: to find a digital solution to issues in four key areas of the airport industry, including customer service, sustainability, commercial operations, and airport processes. The project was presented to partner companies and subsequently evaluated by the jury, which announced the winning teams.
Students participating in the competition also had the opportunity to submit their resumes to our partner companies, thereby gaining exposure to the realities of the professional world.
The winners
The winning teams, which were recognized for their most original, feasible, and secure IT solutions, presented ideas involving the use of IT infrastructure to create digital identities for passengers and enhance their experience around the airport, while ensuring the security of the data management system and providing valuable services to those who take advantage of the system’s capabilities.
