Every year, the Local Groups affiliated with one of the universities in the BEST network organize a free course for those who participate. The course covers topics in engineering and technology. During the course, 22 carefully selected students from across Europe will take part in classes and social activities for at least one full week.

BEST Summer Course 2019: Sm(He)art Cities—The Core of the Future
From July 21, 2019, to July 28, 2019, 22 students from across Europe gathered at the University of Rome Tor Vergata to take an introductory course on the concept of the Smart City, covering topics such asthe Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent control systems, the ethics of automated systems, and much more.
BEST Summer Course 2015: FUTUROMA – FROM SPACE TO THE BASE
In Rome, BEST Tor Vergata successfully hosted 22 engineering and economics students from across Europe for seven days, exploring recurring themes such as space technology,communication, and social well-being.
Summer Course 2014: BEST & COMPANY – HOW TO RESTART A BUSINESS
Over a 10-day period from August 26 to September 4, 22 students from across Europe gathered at various stunning locations in Rome and the picturesque medieval village of Olevano Romano to discuss various wine marketing strategies and the creation of a multimedia package aimed at implementing a successful business strategy.
