Official Opening of the 2015 Summer Course “Futuroma – From Space to the Base”
Good news from the EEC (External EventsCommittee) of BEST International: on February 13, 2016, our 2015 summer course, titled Futuroma – “From Space to the Base”, won the “Red Apple” award .
The project “Red Apple” assigns a score for each “achievement”attained by the course organized by each Local BEST Group in Europe. In addition, points are awarded based on quality standards for educational and organizational activities, taking into account the evaluations of participating students who complete questionnaires at the end of each course. Those who reach 25 points receive the coveted “apple.”
The EEC is the committee responsible for overseeing BEST’s supplementary education program, supporting local groups in organizing events for international students, improving the quality of the “Vivaldi” events—Spring, Summer, Winter, and Autumn Courses—and ensuring compliance with the procedures outlined in the relevant regulations.
In recognition of the quality of our course and the positive feedback received from the international students who have enrolled in it, delegates from our group will receive the award during the annual General Assembly, which this year will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, from April 25 to May 3, and will be attended by all European BEST groups.
Special thanks go to everyone who helped organize the course, but especially to the Main Organizer, Andrea Caruso, andthe Academic Coordinator, Carmen Anastas, who are now, respectively, President and Best Event Responsible of BEST Roma Tor Vergata.
